Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is hitting a major milestone, and everyone’s favorite blue alien is ready to celebrate in style. In honor of the resort’s 15th anniversary, Disney has revealed a brand-new, exclusive refillable resort mug and matching popcorn bucket.
If you are planning a trip to the shores of Oʻahu this summer, these collectibles will be waiting for you. Even better, the release is timed perfectly for Stitch Day on June 26—a highly anticipated annual event for Disney fans celebrating Experiment 626. Both of these new commemorative pieces will be sold exclusively at Ulu Café, the resort's popular quick-service dining hub located right by the Waikolohe Valley pool area.
A Lazy River Design by Artist Ann Shen
The real star of these new souvenirs is the gorgeous, tropical artwork. Designed by celebrated Disney Artist Ann Shen, the design captures the ultimate relaxing Hawaiian vacation. The custom illustration shows Stitch floating lazily on an inner tube down the resort's iconic Waikolohe Stream—the elaborate 900-foot lazy river that winds through the center of the resort.
Shen’s artwork is packed with beautiful, sunset-hued tropical tones, lush greenery, swaying palm trees, and ocean waves that perfectly mirror the real-life atmosphere of Aulani. The popcorn bucket is completed with a matching royal purple handle and lid, making it a vibrant, high-quality keepsake.
Disney Aulani shared the official first-look video of the new collectibles on their social media channels, showing Stitch himself testing out the goods:
"Stitch is floating down Waikolohe Stream to drop the latest refillable mug & popcorn bucket in honor of Aulani's 15th Anniversary. Check them out at Ulu Café this summer just in time for Stitch Day on 6/26 Design by Disney Artist, Ann Shen"

Maximizing Your Snacks at Ulu Café
If you’ve ever stayed at a Disney resort, you know that refillable mugs and popcorn buckets aren't just cute souvenirs—they are essential tools for saving money on snacks. Here is how the program works at Aulani so you can plan your budget:
- The 15th Anniversary Mug: While exact pricing for this specific edition hasn’t been released, standard plastic refillable mugs at Aulani typically run around $27, while high-end insulated stainless steel tumblers cost about $38 to $40. Once purchased, the mug grants you unlimited free refills of fountain drinks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at Ulu Café and the drink station near the Lava Shack for the entirety of your resort stay.
- The Popcorn Bucket: Standard resort popcorn buckets usually run between $10 and $15. Once you buy the bucket, you can bring it back to Ulu Café for cheap $3 refills throughout your vacation. Even better, if you are a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member, you may want to check with the cashier, as members have historically been eligible for discounted or free popcorn refills during their stay.
This release is a brilliant way to kick off the resort's yearlong celebration. Since opening in 2011, Aulani has bridged authentic Hawaiian culture and local storytelling with classic Disney magic. Given Stitch's deep-rooted connection to Hawaiʻi from Lilo & Stitch, there couldn't be a more perfect mascot to lead the festivities.
If you love collecting unique, location-exclusive Disney gear—like the first live-action Moana Loungefly backpack that recently launched—you’ll definitely want to make Ulu Café your very first stop on your next Hawaiian getaway. These anniversary items are limited-edition runs, and they are highly expected to sell out as summer crowds peak and Stitch Day approaches.
