Disney Springs is no stranger to reimagining itself, but this summer is shaping up to be one of its most transformative seasons in years. Between the highly anticipated debut of a sprawling indoor gaming playground, a savory sister concept to a legendary cookie bakery, and some major crowd-control updates, the district is officially entering its next era.

If you have a Walt Disney World trip scheduled for this summer, there is a lot to plan for. From new bite-sized treats to massive gameplay spaces, here is everything changing at Disney Springs over the next few months.

Level99 Brings Next-Gen Gaming to the West Side

For years, the massive building on the West Side of Disney Springs formerly known as the NBA Experience has sat largely quiet. That changes officially on June 29, 2026, when Level99 throws open its doors.

Described as a giant, interactive playground designed specifically for adults and teenagers, the Disney Springs location will be Level99's fourth—and by far its largest—venue to date. Spanning nearly 47,000 square feet, the multi-story space features 63 life-sized, themed challenge rooms, competitive player-versus-player duels, and interactive art scavenger hunts.

Unlike standard arcade games, Level99 focuses on cooperative, hands-on play. Groups of two to six players will wear RFID-powered "Velobands" to scan into individual rooms. Inside, they'll have one to four minutes to solve mental puzzles, complete physical agility courses, or test their coordination on games like "Axe Run".

To keep gamers fueled, the venue will also house a massive two-story bar and scratch kitchen. The menu is surprisingly robust, featuring award-winning Detroit-style pizza, Wagyu beef burgers, loaded elote guacamole, and local craft beer on tap.

Tickets go on sale June 22, 2026, starting at $29.99 for a 1.5-hour play session, with 2.5-hour blocks also available. Progress on your challenges is saved directly to your profile, so you can pick up right where you left off on future visits.

Six Ravens: The Savory Side of Gideon’s Bakehouse

If you have ever braved the multi-hour virtual queue at Disney Springs for a half-pound chocolate chip cookie, you already know the mastermind behind Gideon's Bakehouse, Steve Lewis. This summer, Lewis is expanding his culinary footprint in The Landing with an all-new concept: Six Ravens.

Located in the former Art of Shaving space, Six Ravens trades sweet chocolate chips for rich, medieval-inspired savory treats. The signature menu item here is the "Coffyn"—a fluffy, house-made yeast roll stuffed with hearty sandwich fillings. The shop has partnered with top-tier local Orlando chefs to create rotating recipes, which will be served alongside crispy smashed potatoes with sweet heat and honey mustard dips.

“Six Ravens is the result of collaborating with the family we've created at Gideon's, and our friendships within the community. We look forward to being a gateway to local flavors.”

While the exact opening date hasn't been set, the dark wood paneling and medieval-themed exterior signage are already up, signaling that a launch is just around the corner. To wash down those Coffyns, the spot will also offer house-made root beer on tap and collaborative craft beers from local staples like Sideward Brewing and The Ravenous Pig.

Shaved Ice and Custom Popcorn Hits the District

For quicker snack stops, Disney Springs is rolling out two brand-new treats just in time for the intense Florida heat:

  • Kakigōri Kool: Right outside Morimoto Asia, this new outdoor kiosk will serve traditional Japanese shaved ice topped with sweet syrups, fresh pineapple, and strawberry popping boba.
  • Create-Your-Own Popcorn at Goofy’s Candy Company: Borrowing a highly popular concept from Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery, you can now customize your own popcorn bowls. After choosing your popcorn base—which includes an exclusive Disney Springs "orange citrus" flavor, caramel, or butter—you can customize your bowl with a chocolate drizzle and multiple candy mix-ins. It’s a great, customizable alternative to standard sugary treats, similar to how Vivoli il Gelato’s new coconut affogato provides a high-quality option over the standard park snacks.

The Exposition Park Food Trucks Have Officially Rolled Out

While we are getting plenty of new spots to eat, we are also losing a decade-long staple. As of June 7, 2026, the food trucks at Exposition Park on the West Side have been permanently retired. Longtime favorites like 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa, Cilantro Urban Eatery, and GoJuice are officially gone.

Instead of leaving a massive empty concrete courtyard, Disney did an overnight transformation on June 14, filling the plaza with plenty of new outdoor tables, chairs, and shade umbrellas. This adds highly valuable seating capacity for guests grabbing quick bites from nearby spots like Everglazed, Pepe by José Andrés, or Starbucks. Even though we will miss the Latin-inspired food truck flavors, Disney Springs recently debuted a phenomenal beef and mushroom brisket poutine at The Daily Poutine that more than fills the savory quick-service void.

Moving Around: The Free Parking Loophole Closes Permanently

Perhaps the biggest operational shift of the summer impacts how off-property guests navigate Walt Disney World. Starting June 28, 2026, Disney is permanently enforcing a transportation verification policy for resort-bound buses and Sassagoula River Cruise boats leaving Disney Springs.

To board resort transportation from Disney Springs, every guest must scan their MagicBand or show proof of one of the following:

  • An active Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation
  • A confirmed dining reservation at a resort hotel
  • A confirmed resort recreation activity booking (like a boat cruise)

This permanently shuts down a popular loophole where day guests would park for free at Disney Springs and utilize free resort buses or watercraft to reach resort hotels—and subsequently, the theme parks—without paying the daily park parking fees. While it means a bit more tapping and organizing at the bus depot, the change has already proven highly successful in freeing up bus seats for actual resort guests. If you are staying off-property, keep in mind you'll need to drive and park directly at the theme parks rather than using Disney Springs as a transit hub.

With Level99's sprawling challenges, Six Ravens' savory bakes, and much-needed seating additions, a trip to Disney Springs this summer will look and feel brand new. Be sure to have your reservations linked and your MagicBands handy when heading to the bus loop, and prepare to test your skills when the new era of Disney Springs officially kicks off.
